On the evening of February 28th, 2009, Ace Alumni Association celebrated its first Alumni Reunion Program organized by Ace Institute of Management.
The program was held in the premises of Everest Hotel, New Baneshwor.
The program started at 5 PM in the Cafe Hall with around one hundred and fifty alumnus.
The first event for the Ace ALumni Reunion was a welcome dance by Ekta Garg (MBA Spring 2008), followed by a welcome speech from the Principal, Mr. Ashish Tiwari. Further on, Mr Ajay Ghimire, Chairman of Ace and CEO of Vibor Bikas Bank Limited, shared the history of Ace institute of Management and his experience of having been at Ace right from its inception till date. Up next was the president of Ace Alumni Association- Mr. Saroj Kaji Tuladhar (first EMBA batch 1999) currently the CEO of Goodwill Finance, who gave a background about Ace Alumni Association. He is the man behind establishing and registering the Ace Alumni Association in the 2003 as a NGO. He was grateful to the Ace Alumni Initiation team members for bringing back the Ace Alumni Association and organizing a reunion for the first time. The next event was followed by a live song performance by Kshitiz Shrechan (MBA Fall 2006), Ranjeet Shrestha (MBA Spring 2007) and Prakash Sharma (MBA Spring 2007).
One of the main events during the Ace Alumni Reunion was the launching of the official Ace Alumni Website. Initially Facebook was used to increase networking amongst the Ace alumnus, but now Ace Alumni Association has its own website (www.alumniace.org.np).The president of Ace Alumni Association did the honor of launching the official website.

During the launch of the website Brijendra Joshi and Sumit Vaidya, batch of Spring 2007 MBA and also the member of Ace Alumni Initiation Team debriefed the alumnus on how they can register themselves as an Alumnus on the official website.
Finally the ceremony was wrapped up followed by a cocktail dinner party and live DJ session. The event was supported by Sunrise City Homes, sponsored by Goodwill Finance and McDowell's.
Overall, the event was a success and we hope that this will lay the foundation for better relations amongst all Ace Alumni members and the Institute in the years to come.
